When something looks templated, it is usually one of a handful of tells. My running checklist:
- One accent colour, used sparingly. No gradients.
- Bigger jumps between heading and body sizes.
- Real words in my own voice, not filler.
- Space is a feature. When in doubt, add more of it.
Good design is as little design as possible, but no less.
